My name is Andrew Black (Komisarenko). I am a PhD («Doctor of Philosophy»), composer, writer, philosopher and scientist. I graduated Philological faculty of Pedagogical University. During 1999 - 2003 I studied at the Musical College on a class of a guitar (a department of variety art). My teacher on the guitar was A. P. Poltavsky. My teacher in music composition, music theory, harmony and polyphony was V. N. Rakitjansky. In 1999 I was the bass guitarist in the doom-metal-band «Mournful Gust» (http://www.mournfulgust.com/). In 2000 - 2002 I was vice-manager of this doom-metal-band. In 2003 I started a solo music career. I took part in concerts for young composers on the basis of the Musical College. I am co-author of the hymn of Musical College (Krivoy Rog). In 2006 I published my first book: «THANATOSOPHIA». This book includes poetry, poetic miniatures, aphorisms, musical works, and philosophical plays. I am a member of the «Society of fans of Richard Wagner’s music» (in Kiev). I was a non-staff employee of the Palace of Organ and Chamber Music in Dnepropetrovsk (2008-2009). On April 16, 2009 my two original musical compositions for the organ have performed in the Palace of Organ and Chamber Music («Prelude and fugue a-moll», «Adagio h-moll»), by organist Natalia Letjuk. She is the winner of the international music competition. The concert was a great success! As a composer, I prefer the Gothic, Baroque, Romantic and Folk. In 2010 I defended my thesis on «The Metaphysical reflection of music in historical and philosophical discourse». Today I am engaged in research of the philosophical issues of music and musical thinking. I teach the courses of philosophy and of sociology. My scientific articles were repeatedly published in periodic scientific and literary magazines.
